Who We Are
Danielle Malangone, Founder and Travel Advisor
Hi, I’m Danielle, the voice and advisor behind Faramore, a family travel blog and planning agency.
I started Faramore to help families travel (“fara”) more because I believe travel helps create lifelong memories, strengthens family bonds, and cultivates curisoity.
My husband and I have 3 young girls and I recognize my time with them is fleeting, which is why I’m on a mission to experience the world as a family. We live a “traditional” life in suburban NJ and travel during school breaks and summer. Traveling helps our family escape the frenetic, hyper-scheduled culture and reconnect, recharge, and create core memories.
As a parent, I’ve learned what works (and what doesn’t!) when you travel with your kids, and I know that with the right planning, travel can be the most meaningful gift you can give your family.
Before I decided to turn my passion for travel into a career and start Faramore, I spent 20 years doing strategic planning, training, research, and writing as a criminal justice reformer. Now, I’m leveraging those justice planning skills as a travel advisor when curating well-researched and bespoke travel experiences for clients.
